My influence is great music from all over the world and when I write a lyric, I usually don't choose a genre until it's finished. Most notably Dolly Parton and Johnny Cash kicked off my love of music, then Emmy Lou Harris and Vince Gill to Fleetwood Mac and Eagles. Most notably the Bee Gees inspired me to actually write then Post Malone and NIN, Maroon Five and Stapleton kept me going:)

I love this song and the demo! Gut-wrenchingly honest. Finding a guy or an artist that would want to admit this about himself might be difficult though. I think plenty would want to sing about somebody else doing it;) Have you tried a 3rd person version??
