Songwriting Pro's "Know The Pro" is a cool opportunity for us to hang out together (online) with a music industry pro. And this month, we have a great one!
Each event will start off with a brief conversation between me and our guest, as he reveals information YOU need to know about the music biz. After that, we'll open it up to YOUR questions (so think ahead).

Nashville singer/songwriter, Steve Dean, has co-written six number one Billboard hits, including the most-played country radio of 2007 and Country AirCheck's Song of the Decade in 2017, "Watching You" for Rodney Atkins, the Grammy nominated, "It Takes A Little Rain" for The Oak Ridge Boys, "Southern Star" for Alabama, "Round About Way" for George Strait, "Walk On" for Reba McEntire, "Hearts Aren't Made To Break" for Lee Greenwood, two number one Bluegrass hits, "No More Lonely" and "New Day Dawning" for The Roys and one number one Top Independent Country Chart hit, 3935 West End Ave by Mason Dixon.
Steve's songs have been recorded by Sister Hazel, LoCash, Joe Nichols, Dierks Bentley, Lee Ann Womack, Waylon Jennings, Pure Prairie League and others.
Steve has earned eight BMI Songwriter Award and two BMI Publisher Awards.
This event will be on Tuesday, May 26, from 7:30pm - 8:30pm CENTRAL TIME, and we'll meet on a Zoom videoconference.
