This is my first attempt at CCM. It is about bringing your faith to the community. Lyrics and Melody by myself with original vocals by me. Produced in Suno with cover vocals and instruments added.
Would love any feedback.
Definitely a great reminder. Nice upbeat tempo.
I honestly think there’s two songs in here: one for faith proven after the amen and the other about the majority of the message here of being “living proof.”

We’ve been singing, praying, gospel saying,
Hands raised high in the Sunday light.
Growing strong inside these four walls,
Where faith feel safe and right.
Loving and preaching is easy teaching
When everybody knows your name,
But faith don’t end at the church doors closing
When the last note fades away.
Pre-Chorus
God didn’t call us just to gather,
Just to feel good and go back home,
If we’re only strong inside the sanctuary,
What happens when we’re on our own?
Chorus
’Cause the real work begins
After the Amen,
When the doors swing wide and the world walks in.
You gotta get your hands dirty, roll up your sleeves,
It’s not what they hear, it’s what they see.
Love that moves, love that shows ’em what you believe.
Yeah, faith really starts
After the Amen.
Verse 2
It’s the neighbor you’ve been avoiding,
The single mom just scraping by,
The broken man with a cardboard sign
You’ve passed a hundred times.
It’s forgiveness when it’s undeserved,
Mercy when it costs you pride,
It’s living out the words you say
When nobody’s watching your life.
pre-chorus
It’s easy loving people just like me,
Same beliefs, same history.
But faith was never meant to stay
Locked inside a Sunday place.
Chorus
Cause the real work begins
After the Amen,
When the doors swing open and life walks in.
When belief turns into what you do,
Not just words you repeat, but living proof.
It’s not what you say when you’re standing with friends,
Faith really starts
After the Amen.
Bridge
It’s easy to kneel when the room agrees,
Harder to stand when it's just you who believes.
But grace was never meant to stay contained,
It was meant to make a mark, leave us changed.
If He walked among the hurt and lost,
Who are we to turn away?
The prayer ain’t finished when we say the words—
It’s just begun that way.
Outro
So don’t just pray, start livin'
The real work begins
After the Amen.
