It's easy to take for granted all that God gives and does for me. Simply waking up each day is a gift! My prayers may not be answered the way "I" think they should, but I need to trust God to provide.

Waiting for results, I held her hand…feeling sure that she was finally free
When the doctor said the cancer has come back…she looked at me in total disbelief

Sitting there the silence was deafening…I couldn’t find the right words to say
Through tears, I asked the doctor to join us…and I began to pray
