Always wanted to write a Beach/Buffet style song. Visited St. Thomas one year and fell in love with the water,Tiki bar(Dinghy Beach Bar), and of course Dinghys drinks. Almost missed my plane home cause I just didnt want to leave.
This song is far from complete, just the idea but feed back is always welcomed.

Maybe I didn’t wanna leave, maybe Dinghey fever got a damn hold on me
But either way, I’m so glad I hung around
Cause there’s a cute little blonde over there, She’s been sipping on a drink in my Fav-O-rite chair And she’s been staring my way
I could stay here all day long
This ole cowboy’s probably never going home

She told me her name was Shelby Lynn
Then she asked me to go for a swim
And after two stiff Dinghey’s we were both diving in
The water here is so crystal clear
And me and ole Shelby’s just a sitting out here
Skinny dipping, & sipping, & soaking up the Sun
Man I could get used to this, Island life I can’t resist
I see why Buffett loved this style of life
