You know how songwriters always get hit with that question, “If you write so much music, why haven’t you written a song about me yet?” It’s like this thing people ask, but in this case, it was asked way too early in the relationship. The timing was off, and it felt kind of rushed. So, that sparked the whole idea for the song about feeling pushed into expressing something that maybe hasn’t fully formed yet.
