Shooting for the moon, I imagine this being a pitch to Luke Bryan or similar. Maybe it's too edgy, but my thought is to write for what he might release in 1-2 years, as country may go more groove and pop oriented, with more edgy lyrics.
Does the story narrative work? I'm trying to walk the line of the old "life is good here in the country where we enjoy wholesome "homegrown" stuff (including, perhaps, our own homegrown mary jane).
