Dreams can be the pipeline to reality, or not.
I dig all feedback. It's how I grow.
Very catchy melody and easy going feel. Lyrics make me sympathize with the singer and show a sense of humor.

Had that dream again last night, the one that makes me cry
I come home to find you gone without even a goodbye
When you are that mean to me I know it's just a dream
'Cause I was wide awake the day you broke up with me
In my dreams you never say why you had to go
In my dreams I make it all my fault
The day you left you told me it was you not me
Still I wish you were here and only leaving in my dreams
It's difficult to concentrate, at work I fell asleep
I had that same bad dream again, the one where you just leave
You really have audacity, nothing's sacred in our lives
I woke up crying at my desk, that's when I realized
Chorus
Bridge
I've heard it said some reasons for recurring dreams may be
Fear and unresolved conflict but those don't apply to me

Hi Jessica,
Great melody and nice twist in the Chorus ... I was not expecting “Still I wish you were here and only leaving in my dreams.” At the end of the Bridge, you can have a nice build back into the Chorus if there’s a rest. Also, there’s an interesting chord progression which makes the arrangement unique on the last line of the Chorus. Nice job! Thanks, Uncle Brent
