Tight lyrics, story moves well, Imagry is solid and a “feel good theme” makes this work well for me.

Thanks, for the feedback, Joe and “Uncle” Brent. 
To answer Brent’s question, I did not do the production on it. I sent a guitar/vocal to Maks Gabriel with the groove and some song references. Then, Maks and AJ Cross (vocals) did their magic! (I wrote the song with Michael August from Demolition Pub.—we both contributed melody, lyrics, and chord structure.)

You are a diverse songwriter. Great detail and very sing-able melody. This has a good ‘‘new” country sound. My favorite line is “And God knows we ain’t afraid of a little hard work.” Consider adding the Whoahs to more sections of the song because everyone can sing that ... Did you write the music?
