Song about being caught in unusual places inspired by a little town in Virginia called Tightsqueeze.

Heard about a risk taker put all his money on a game
In a smoky pool hall in East Liberty, PA
Winning ball was trapped between 13 and the 10
But he slid it down with some wicked spin
Man across table said I don't believe what I see
What's the name of that shot
Tight squeeze
Heard about a girl went to see the Rolling Stones
In a big arena far away from home
She was pressing on stranger up against the door
When it finally opened they fell down on the floor
Their legs were intertwined they were cheek to cheek
She said explain this thing
Tight squeeze
Tighter than two lovers in the back seat of a car
Tighter than the pockets of a hustler in a bar
Tighter than a drunk walking on his knees
This place well they call it tight squeeze
Heard about a man two appointments in one night
One was with his lover and one was with his wife
Tried to keep it straight which one he was with
But he switched their names in the middle of a kiss
He looked over at the referee
What's the name of my predicament
Tight squeeze
Tighter than two lovers in the back seat of a car
Tighter than the pockets of a hustler in a bar
Tighter than a drunk walking on his knees
This place well they call it tight squeeze

Kirk,
Welcome to Frettie! This song has some great lines. I was immediately pulled into the song. The music combined with the lyrics and singing feel perfect together.
The whole song takes me from scene to scene really nicely! I actually can see a “detective” dropping a coin in a juke box (starting this song) as he walks into a pool hall, right into a bar and then down a dark dimly lit city street.
All of this would be happening in one single take.
Not sure if it is the visual you had in mind, but that’s what i see. haha.
Looking forward to hearing your other music and feedback/contributions to Frettie.
