This song is about the loss of my brother Bobby 20 years ago at the age of 39. 9 months later my mom passed. I think about my brother everyday. I miss him terribly along with my mother. I will never let the memories of our time together go, This song is dedicated to them.

I’m thinking about the times we had before you went away I have so many things I wish that I could say now you’re gone and you’re not coming back.
Every time I close my eyes I see your smiling face at the caravan to midnight it was your favorite place you’re so young and so full of life.
You were there, you were always there, you helped me see our hopes and dreams come alive.
Now you’re gone, I carry this on my own, you’re the man I wish the world got to know
I won’t let you go.
Remember when dad would say to put the tools away, you would go and lose a few and I get all the blame you would laugh, man that takes me back.
When we’re all together now you’re always on our minds all the childhood memories remembering all the times of you and mom now you both are gone.
You were there, you were always there, I can see you both with me still alive. Now your gone I carry this on my own, you’re the ones I wish my sons got to know
I won’t let you go
You were there, you were always there, you help me see, you helped me believe, and... I won’t let you go
