About This Song


I wrote this song about it takes a lot for a Dad to cry. Dad's are the tough guy and it takes a lot for them to cry and when they do it's out of love or sadness not because they got hurt.

I found an old photograph of my Daddy, getting bucked off an eight second ri
I found another photograph of my Daddy, he served until that day, he lost his right leg at war, his soldiers pride took those tears away, but I heard on

The day I was born, he cried holding me, looking through these photographs, ya I can clearly see
Just like the one right here of him crying on my wedding day, so many memories in this shoebox
Here’s one of my grandpa who passed away, every pictures worth a thousand words, but Daddy’s Tears are all I heard.

With his left hand on the bible and a bottle in his right-he broke down like
