I think its a pretty solid song! I think the only feedback I would have is to get a more well defined chorus that you hit a few more times. That does depend if you are shooting for a radio single kind of sound. If you aren’t shooting for that type of commercial sound disregard that lol

Love it. I could imagine Ricky Skaggs on vocals.

Porch Light In Heaven

Written by T Randell Karber

PORCH LIGHT IN HEAVEN
T RANDELL KARBER

Mama fed you and bathed you
rocked you to sleep
Mama held you and hugged you
and kissed you so sweet
Mama taught you about Jesus
and the right thing to do
you never had to wonder
if Mama loved you

Mama showed you how to live life
laugh and have fun
Mama taught by example
how to get your work done
Mama came to your ball games
even when you didn’t play
kept the porch light on and wait up
when you came home so late

Mama loved you to the end
Mama’s not through
she keeps the porch light on in heaven
waiting for you

Mama’s singing with the angles
watching over you
she keeps the porch light on in heaven
waiting for you

Mama’s singing with the angles
watching over you
she keeps the porch light on in heaven
waiting for you
she keeps the porch light on in heaven
waiting for you
