About This Song

There's no real story ... just something I (Alan) came up with a while back. It's a Bluesy Jazz Sax Instrumental that might conjure some melancholy emotion for the listener. Genre could be Blues, Jazz or Smooth Jazz. It also has hints of R&B.

Hey Alan, I’m listening to this jazzy tune. I felt like Barry White was going to start singing somewhere in this song. Then my thoughts carried me away to a few film scene scenarios.

How many of these gems do you have sitting around? Thanks for sharing your “Late Night” song!

Hello Ronnie ...

Nice to “meet” you. Glad you enjoyed it. I appreciate the nice words. I have a few if them hiding in one place or another. But I’m not really a sax player. My primary instrument is the guitar.

You had mentioned Barry White. I also thought he’d be a good fit for a vocal. Lew Rawls also crossed my mind.I’ll be posting a new song in a dew days. it’;s a big band number with my wife on vocal ... she excellent!

Again, thank you for your thoughts!
