Yep, I like the change - opens it up to more folks. Nice work… and re-work!

Verse 1
When you’re burdened down with sorrow, Turn It Loose
Don’t just worry bout tomorrow, Turn It Loose
When defeat has come your way
You can rise and learn to say
Don't keep holding on to heartache, Turn It Loose
Chorus
Turn it loose and God will take complete control
Manna from above will surely feed your soul
You will have that inner peace that you desire
Turn it loose and God will help your faith shine brighter
Interlude
Verse 2
When your day is dark and dreary, Turn It Loose
When your night is cold and weary, Turn It Loose
When the weight of all your cares,
It becomes too much to bear
Don't keep holding on to heartache, Turn It Loose
Chorus
Turn it loose and God will take complete control
Manna from above will surely feed your soul
You will have that inner peace that you desire
Turn it loose and God will help your faith shine brighter

I like that you’re speaking directly TO the southern gospel audience, which is a common thing and wise if you want cuts. I wonder about the line “and His Word gets hard to teach.” Makes it sound like this song is for preachers and Sunday School teachers. Could throw the listener off.
Some good stuff here- thanks for sharing!
