About This Song

I wrote June after accepting the fact that you can't hold onto something forever. But just like the month of June goes, there is always another June coming. Always another year coming. But you have to pass the other 11 months.

Feedback Requested

Lyrics, production, just the overall song in general.

Please include the lyrics. It’s hard to review without them. A lot of us are at work and playing music low to avoid our bosses!
This sounds like a folk song to me. I like the upbeat drums. The lyrics feel sad which is fine. Sounds kind of retro like something from the 60s. I might put some harmonica on it and some hammond B3 to give it more of that Bob Dylan vibe. The song is way too long. I say keep it to 3 minutes for a pop song. People aren’t used to long songs now days.

I like it!, real simple and catchy. I love the melody it fits your melancholy voice. Lyrics are a little indirect and subliminal but make sense to the theme and title of the song, I get it. I’m a huge fan of the 60’s, early 70’s soft rock sound (America,Bread, etc;). Good pitch for a possible TV / movie placement not so much for another artist. Good luck with it!

The song is catchy -  good production. I agree with Tripp also for me the song is way too long, I had to force myself to listen til the end. There is not so much going on. However it could be a good fit for a TV commercial!

Hi, Dillon!  Thanks for sharing your song with us.  I kinda think of Jack Johnson or something like that.  I dig the vibe.  Yeah, could be a cool synch placement thing.

Adding the lyrics will encourage more feedback, and better feedback.

Good stuff.  Looking forward to hearing more!
