I wrote this with Charley Crockett in mind, kind of an 'old soul' country blues feel. I got the idea from a headline in the Texas Monthly magazine. Very simple lyrics
I dig the title- it made me want to listen. I really like the 1st two lines. I like how you put “fog” in line 1 to SHOW us the rumors, and I really like how whispers get so loud they turn into talk. Very cool.
