The instrumentation on all of your songs is SO catchy! You have a great ear for layering tracks without any part becoming overpowering. I particularly love the music on this one. It matches the feel of the song so well, and the tempo is perfect.

The lyrics are simple, but they’re really relatable. It’s great that you’re pointing out all of the small, often overlooked things that can bring you a little happiness through their appreciation. The “sea salt on my french fries” line caught me a little off guard, but, hey, if sea salt is your thing then that works!

Initially I didn’t like the slow fade out at the end, but after another listen, the snare hits sound a little like a train moving along away from “ugly.” Not sure if that was intentional, but it’s pretty cool.

I agree with all of Caryn’s comments. Although I think this would really soar if you hit the chorus (I’m thinking blue skies, sunshine…....) with a higher melody and some tight harmony.

Good song.
