Hi Kelly, you have a great vocal and production quality on this song. I really like the mood and the message. If I were to make any suggestions at all, I would respectfully have you consider not inserting a major chord (I think there’s a G#) in your chorus. It takes me out of the lilting mood as a listener. I think it would sound even better staying on the G#m or some harmonic of that minor note.
Just my 2 cents. Great job. Beautiful song.
