Hey, David! Thanks for sharing your song with us. I like the vibe of the intro. I like the thought that you keep smiling, showing it to the world, in spite of the bad in the world.
However, a lot of the lyric is veiled or distant. The verse about the “same things” just lost me. I didn’t know what you meant, so I didn’t know what to feel. I was just confused. Give me something specific, please.
Maybe have a personal verse (heartbreak, personal tragedy, etc.) then move into the geopolitical (war, etc.). That might be cool.
