I wrote this with Neal Coty and Tyler Oban (of the band The Railers). Demo vocal by Red Marlowe.

VERSE: You’re the music in the ride on my morning drive
Coming through the speakers in the rhythm and rhyme
On the radio
You’re the dance in the breeze blowing through the trees
Outta nowhere right there with me
Letting me know
That’s just the way it goes
CHORUS:Whenever we’re together walking down the street
No matter what I’m wearing nobody sees
Nothing but the beautiful next to me
That smile, that style, that wild that just won’t quit
It’s your world, girl, I’m just loving in it
I’m just loving in it
VERSE: You’re the buzz in the bottom of my coke and rum
You touch my lips and I feel the rush
And my head goes spin spin spin spin
You’re the high in the ride on a rollercoaster
The view from the top and the going over
Hands up, up in the air, wanna do it again and again and again
CHORUS: [REPEAT]
BRIDGE: Yeah, everything revolves around you
Like I do
VERSE: You’re the music in the ride on my morning drive
Coming through the speakers in the rhythm and rhyme
On the radio
That’s just the way it goes
CHORUS: [REPEAT]

Honestly, I felt kind of lost in the song the first time I listened, like I needed more info. Read the lyrics closely and it made more sense. I kept hearing the chorus as “Lovin’ it”, which didn’t match the title. Reading the lyrics, I feel more like I’m living in her world rather than loving in it, as nowhere do I get that you’re actually in love.
I know I’m nowhere near qualified to be taking apart one of your songs, but these we my first impressions.
