Feedback always welcome...but in terms of how future music might be handled...

Very interesting - I would have put this in the blues.jazz style with hints of rock. It is something that would play live in NYC at a place like Smalls or Arthur’s Tavern. It does have a smoother soul sound, so I can see the R&B influence, too…which I like. I think the arrangement is great. The vocal and lyrics go well together. The backup vocals are excellent, nice touch and builds midway in the song. Percussions are solid. They seem to be the driving force of the track though, and it wouldn’t hurt to have that cool bass track stand out a bit more. The guitar has some higher octave sounds but everything seems to be in a low range, so if you’re looking to play around with it, add another higher element, like the piano? more guitar parts? a sax?

Great feedback Prin…thank you. I’m playing the drums on this so perhaps that’s the reason they’re driving it…;) Sax would sound great (I admit). I’ll be getting on Frettie more in a couple of weeks but will try and post a song before that. (I can then spend time on other folk’s stuff.)
