I greatly admire all kinds of songwriters and the "who are your influences" game usually misses me. Honestly, I'm influenced by whoever I'm listening to lately that inspires me but am a hodgepodge of musical influences from Garth Brooks, George Strait, Barry Manilow (I'm not ashamed), Billy Joel, Elton John, The Beatles, Rush, Iron Maiden, Metallica, Chris Daughtry, Ed Sheeran, Amos Lee, Dishwalla (JR. Richards), the Goo Goo Dolls, and on and on. Noah Gundersen has been influencing me lately. I really identify with his songwriting.
