Hello!
Songwriting Pro's "Know The Pro" is a cool opportunity for us to hang out together (online) with a music industry pro. And this month, we have a great one!
Each event will start off with a brief conversation between me and our guest, as she reveals information YOU need to know about the music biz. After that, we'll open it up to YOUR questions (so think ahead).
This month's guest is film/tv publisher, Liz Rogers.
Liz Rogers is the Founder and Creative Director at Anacrusis, where she oversees new signings, writer development, and pitching creatively for sync. A graduate of Vanderbilt University, Liz studied music performance, musical theatre, business, and education, and has applied those skills in jobs in experiential marketing and consulting. In addition to Anacrusis, Liz also is an independent music supervisor and has worked on several films and documentaries, and is a member of the Guild of Music Supervisors. Liz is an Advisor at the Entrepreneur Center, an Adjunct Artist Teacher at Vanderbilt University, and serves on the Board for SOLID (the Society of Leaders in Development) and the Music Committee of the Nashville Film Festival. Liz was recently honored as one of Nashville's "30 Under 30”, and included in the “Women In Music City” Power Players list by the Nashville Business Journal.
Anacrusis Music has landed music placements with brands including T-Mobile, U.S. Army, Norstroms, John Deere, and shows including WestWorld, NCIS Los Angeles, Chicago Fire, Nashville, The Hills, The Rookie, and many more.
This event will be on Thursday, August 20, from 7:30pm - 8:30pm CENTRAL TIME, and we'll meet on a Zoom videoconference.
