Album: : Spur Of The Moment

EP: Rodeo Queen
Released: October 23, 2023
Producers N/A
© 2020 Deep Frey'd Music
℗ 2020 Deep Frey'd Music

EP Trends: Very classic country sound. Themes of songs were centered around a variety of topics but all included traditional country themes such as “spurs,” “cowboys,” and “dime stores.” On the EP Kylie belts a lot and spends most of the time in her upper register. Songs were a variety of tempos from upbeat to mid to slow. Kylie writes with various co-writers on every track except the cover.

Track Listing
1. : Spur of the Moment
Writers: Kylie Frey, Leslie Winn Satcher
Duration: 3:05
Key: GM
Tempo: 108 DPM
Subject: Kyie sings about the impulsiveness of her partner to go away and make crazy plans by describing it as “spur” of the moment decisions that leave her lonely. The “spur” of the moment not only represents his impulsiveness but also the pain she feels when he leaves on a whim, such as a horse getting kicked by boots with spurs.
Music: Fiddles, acoustic guitar, upbeat drums, and electric guitar. The song starts and remains upbeat. While the song does start pretty built up, it does build throughout instrumentally, with the biggest moment being the final chorus.
Notes: As someone who knows little about horses or riding I was very confused and had to search some things about this song.
