Album Trends: Pop-country album. Lots of harmonies. Spencer writes on every song but works with various co-writers. Very different instrumentation and song forms throughout the album. Similarities in the use of pedal steel, cool drum beats, and harmonies create cohesion throughout the album. Brittney’s vocals are really great and has a lot of character. She showcases them in a lot of different ways, from extending to the ends of her range to harmonizing to doing runs and vocal flips. Carrie Underwood meets Ariana Grande.

Track Listing
1. : New To This Town
Writers: Brittney Spencer
Duration: 2:14
Key: C Major
Tempo: 177 BPM
Subject: Brittney ponders in thought about somebody she has met in the new town she lives in. She wonders if her attraction will turn into something real.
Music: Acoustic guitar, muted electric guitar, pad, and steel pedal. Close-micing on vocals. Very breathy and soft singing and a lot of beautiful harmonies. A muted kick comes in about halfway through that facilitates movement. Firework sounds add to the atmosphere.
Notes: This song is literally me.
